PRESIDENT LETTER

SUTINDO CORPORATION 2017

“ Facing The New Challenge “

 

               Good morning and best wishes to all present here.

               Praise to Lord Jesus Christ, for His blessing, we are able to work for our beloved nation and country, Indonesia. Indonesian economic growth increased in 2016 by 5.02%, which is compared to 2015 by 4.88%. We believe this growing trend will continue until the end of 2017. Sutindo Corporation from its Vision and Mission sets a target to expand new business networks until 2021. This is in line with the theme of the 11th Sutindo Anniversary 2017, "Facing the new Challenge", to bring Sutindo Corporation to be ready to face the new challenges up to next five years.

               In order to achieve the Vision & Mission of Sutindo Corporation in opening new businesses, we need to make well-planned preparation and persistent working in all aspects include Human Resources, Infrastructure, Operational System and Financial. All leader in Sutindo Corporation should prepare Succession Candidates (SC) who are willing to be placed in all Indonesian region. It needs employee rotation and promotion as well through clear career path that has been prepared by Human Resource Division. Mentoring the Succession Candidate has become the life call and work culture of the leaders toward their staffs. The excellent system and strong controlled procedure but still flexible and agile to face the needs and services to the customers are also fundamental concerns. Every process can run well and always put continuous improvement and innovation as well by implementing integrated PDCA.

               To optimize the ability and potential of leaders in running PDCA, all of them need to be involved in the Quality Circle process or so called SQC and SQP, either as mentor, facilitator, or circle leader.

               In the next few years, Sutindo Corporation will enter an era where leaders must focus on improving their respective business processes. Before that, each leader is responsible for ensuring the running of the existing procedure system while running the necessary improvements. All of this requires hard work, team-work and persistence from all of employees in Sutindo Corporation to carry out the mission optimally and achieve Sutindo's vision “To Become the Leading Provider and the Largest Distribution Channel of Metal Products, Building Materials, Industrial Plastic-Chemical and its Supporting Services.” 

               Therefore, through the theme of "Facing the new Challenge", I invite and encourage all leaders and employees of Sutindo Corporation to commit in team working to actualize Vision & Mission of Sutindo Corporation, in order to improve the development of Indonesian nation and the welfare of all employees of Sutindo Corporation.

               May God bless Sutindo Corporation to be a blessing and valuable to the nation Indonesian. Amen.
